We are expanding our Van Sales team and have new opportunities to join our multi-award-winning team here at eStar! We are looking for talented Sales professionals to join our Van Sales team as either Van Sales Executive or Van Sales Consultant, depending on experience, to grow our van retail customer base.
The ideal candidates will be proactive in identifying and securing new business within the local Northwest area, experienced in business-to-business sales and be a strong relationship builder who can demonstrate our eStar values at all times to the customer. Package Details: Van Sales Executive - £26,000 or Van Sales Consultant - £33,100, depending on experienceBonus/commission scheme – industry competitiveManchester/Liverpool area and field based with frequent travel to customer sites and between all eStar sites across the Northwest40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30, plus Saturday and evenings on a rota basis23 days' holiday each year plus bank holidaysPermanentCompany CarAdditional leaveCompany eventsCompany pensionCycle to work schemeDiscounted gym membershipDiscounted cinema ticketsEnhanced maternity payEnhanced paternity payFree eye testsFree fruitFree menstrual productsFree on-site parkingHealth Care PlanLife assuranceLong service awardsReferral programmeSick payKey Purpose of the Job: Identifying new business as well as looking after existing light commercial vehicle customersAchieving set sales targetsTo actively promote the Mercedes-Benz brand representing eStar Truck and Van Ltd, in a professional manner at all timesAccountabilities: Responsible for identifying new business and building lasting relationships with prospectsUtilise SalesForce and ensure that all prospects and clients are contacted, followed up, regular contact is maintained, and all relevant information is updatedWork with the Sales Support Function to monitor the progress of all sold orders to ensure that deadlines are metUnderstand and promote the importance of electric vehicles and charging infrastructureEnsure that the demonstrator fleet is effectively used to maximise salesInforming and advising customers on Mercedes-Benz light goods vehicles and other productsExplaining differences between Mercedes-Benz light goods vehicles and competitors' vehiclesEvaluating used light goods vehicles and arranging for technical appraisals to be carried outOrganising and carrying out test-drives and evaluating resultsCompiling and sending out offersWell-targeted and continuous planning of acquisition of new customersInvolvement in sales events e.g. ride and drive type events/exhibitionsFostering contacts to key individuals, associations and groups in the regionExplaining financing and leasing opportunities and insurances and arranging relevant contractsConcluding sales, negotiating terms and obtaining agreements to draw up sales contractsOffering and selling service packagesRecording the customer's order and amendments, preparing cost calculation and passing them on to the respective departmentSupervising all relevant processes up to deliveryHanding over vehicle and introducing customer to the vehicleRegularly obtain and record customer feedback and initiate relevant measuresSkills and Competencies Required: Ability to source, establish and grow customer relationshipsPrevious sales experience, preferably in the commercial vehicle industryBusiness-to-business sales experienceFull and clean UK driving licenceEnthusiasm to deliver the Mercedes-Benz customer experienceAbility to work effectively within a team environmentFlexible approach to work and adaptable to thrive in a changing environmentIT literateApply:
