Role OverviewTo work within the Mawdsleys Logistics Transport operation and working collaboratively with the Transport & Warehouse supervisors and team leaders; to ensure the safe, legal, and efficient distribution of all product maintaining an ever-present focus on adherence to MHRA compliance and provide exceptional customer delivery standards to all end-users.Duties & ResponsibilitiesEnsure that operations are carried out in adherence to Good Distribution Practice (GDP) principles;Represent Mawdsleys Logistics in an ambassadorial manner at all times to both internal and external customers;Deliver pharmaceutical products for all ML customers, on time, in full wherever possible;Adhere to the business SOP package to ensure driver and vehicle activities are compliant with DVSA regulations;To maintain driving licence validity;To operate an LCV in-line with all rules of the road and training provided;Ensure MHRA regulations are followed by supporting and completing temperature monitoring and management requirements;Support the ML Transport management team with all Transport enquiries;Communicate effectively, efficiently and coherently with other drivers, customers and internal Management;To support the Transport Operational team during periods of high work volume and during absence;Be an integral part of the Mawdsleys Logistics team across the wider business, building relationships and a teamwork ethos;Be involved, if relevant, in projects that are required to support the business strategy.What we're looking for from youEssentialPassion to understand and adhere to all legal compliance areas;Ability to plan workload, prioritise tasks and apply own initiatives;Understands and is passionate about the 'customer' and providing an excellent service;Flexible approach to work and able to work shifts, with a willingness to work additional hours when required;Reacts appropriately while listening and understanding the views of others.
