Job Overview We are looking for a confident driver with a full driving license to become our new van driver / handy person.
The job mainly consists of driving the company van to complete deliveries and collections across various areas of the UK.
This includes regular travel to Honeybourne, Birmingham, Wellingborough, but travel to all other areas of the UK may be necessary as per business needs.
When you are not required to be out driving, you will act as a handyperson for the site and will be required to complete general maintenance duties as required.
A keen attitude, commitment to quality, health and safety, reliability and punctuality is essential.
We are ideally seeking someone who can commit to 3.5 days per week.
The hours for this role are: 8:00 – 16:30 Tuesday - Thursday, and 8:00 - 13:30 on Friday.
However this particular role may require flexibility depending on business needs.
Purpose: Key Roles and Responsibilities Delivering / collecting at various locations across the UK Loading and unloading the company van when needed Completing general maintenance jobs around the site when required.
Follow the company's health & safety and quality guidelines Requirements Qualifications * Full, clean drivers license Skills / Knowledge * Knowledge of basic safety rules and precautionary measures (safety gear will be provided) * Knowledge of road safety laws Experience * Previous experience as a driver is desired, but not essential Person Specification Excellent Communication skills.
