Job Profile As a Valuation Surveyor, you will be part of a growing team providing valuation services across a range of sectors, including offices, retail, education, and specialist areas like student accommodation.
You will have the opportunity to work on valuations for multiple purposes such as financial accounting, asset management, business planning, and more.
This role provides exposure to a diverse client base, including private and institutional investors, charities, and members of the legal profession.
With a focus on London and the Southeast, you will also have the chance to collaborate with colleagues across other departments, ensuring comprehensive solutions for clients.
Duties: Specialising in delivering valuation advice across various property assets, including offices, retail, and education sectors.
Assisting and conducting formal Red Book valuations for purposes such as financial accounting, tax planning, and strategic asset management.
Supporting portfolio valuations for a range of clients including investors, developers, and landed estates.
Providing consultancy advice on asset management and development appraisals.
Maintaining strong sector knowledge and staying up to date with local and national market trends through research and collaboration with other departments.
Building and maintaining client relationships with a diverse portfolio, from private investors to charities and legal professionals.
Managing department databases and contributing to efficient project delivery.
Ensuring timely and professional delivery of valuation reports, meeting all client deadlines.
Skills & Experience: Degree or masters degree (2:1 minimum) in a relevant field.
RICS qualified and a Registered Valuer.
At least 12 to 24 months of practical experience in commercial property and valuations.
Proven experience in conducting valuations with strong sector knowledge.
Excellent communication and client management skills.
A proactive, positive approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality professional advice.
