Validation Testing Technician (R&D)

As part of the Alpine long-term plan to compete for F1 World Championships we are looking to add to our talented team with individuals who are motivated to significantly contribute to our relentless pursuit of excellence.
Within the Build and Test Department we are looking for a Validation Testing Technician (R&D) to support mechanical tests of parts and systems.
The Role: The validation testing technician will be responsible to perform laboratory-based tests, using a range of rigs and equipment to ensure a variety of car components and systems are qualified and/or signed off, complying with relevant test specifications.
They will be expected to take full ownership of the tests performed working closely with our engineering department to support development and production tests to ensure our car runs safely and reliably in every weekend race as well as supporting performance development.
The Person: The successful candidate will have strong technical knowledge of test equipment, procedures, and best practices, being able to operate the rigs in our Validation Testing facility.
Experience of using servo hydraulic test machines, controllers and data logging is essential.
They will also have passion for problem solving, combined with the ability to perform the required tests to the highest standards.
