Valet Team Leader Position available in a Fast-Paced automotive workshop!
Job Title: Valet Team Leader Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 2x shift rotation 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm Salary: £16.29 per hour (Overtime & Unsociable hours paid at an enhanced rate) Type: Temp to Perm Location: Corby About the Role: Working Under the supervision of the Site Logistics Manager, the Valet Team Supervisor will oversee all valeting activities on site, ensuring high standards are consistently met within allocated timeframes.
Key Responsibilities: Team Support & Leadership: Direct, support, and motivate the valet team to optimise performance and ensure high-quality results.
Valet Quality Control: Ensure all vehicles are valeted to company standards, following set procedures.
Conduct visual checks for damage or defects on completed vehicles and report issues as necessary.
Operational Efficiency: Support the Compound Manager in assessing workflows and staffing to maximise efficiency.
Ensure workspace cleanliness, organization, and adherence to Health & Safety standards.
Compliance & Record-Keeping: Enforce safety regulations and ensure all team members follow protocols, prioritising accident prevention.
Who you are: Minimum of 2 years' supervisory experience in automotive valeting.
Proficient knowledge of modern valeting methods and industry standards.
Valid driver's license with less than 6 penalty points and no DR offences.
Strong adaptability, self-motivation, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Work Requirements: Ability to operate on a weekly rotating shift schedule (6am – 2pm & 2pm – 10pm).
Flexibility to take on various tasks as needed to support team goals.
