Job Description: We are seeking an experienced UX Designer for maternity cover.
The role would start from Late January to early February 2025 for a 12-month period.
The ideal candidate will have a background working for a fashion brand or e-commerce company, with a passion for creating intuitive and visually appealing interfaces.
This role will play a crucial part in ensuring our website and digital platforms meet the highest standards of usability and aesthetics.
Responsibilities: Working in the e-commerce department whilst collaborating with Brand and our digital agency to translate creative and functional concepts into user-friendly digital experiences.
Conduct user research, including surveys and usability testing, to gain insights into customer preferences and behaviours.
Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups to communicate design ideas effectively.
Maintaining the design system, ensuring it aligns with our brand guidelines, UX standards, and development needs.
Create user personas and journey maps to guide design decisions and improve the overall customer journey.
Work closely with the digital agency and developers to ensure the implementation of designs aligns with UX best practices.
Continuously analyse user feedback and data to refine and improve our digital interfaces.
Stay updated on industry trends and competitors to make recommendations for improvements.
Experience and Skills: Proven experience as a UX Designer, preferably in the fashion or retail industry.
Proficiency in UX design software and tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma).
Strong portfolio showcasing previous UX design work and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Understanding of web development processes and constraints.
Familiarity with responsive and mobile-first design principles.
Bachelor's degree in UX design, graphic design, or a related field.
