We're looking for a talented and methodical UX Designer to join our product team and help shape the UX design of our digital products. The role will work very closely with our VP of Product, Head of Design, Solution Architects and Product Managers to understand business and user requirements and help design new features for the Clubspark product.
You'll have solid research skills and must have experience in gathering requirements, conducting user research and usability testing along with ability to run workshops, create wireframes, prototypes and other deliverables to help communicate your ideas.
This role will start in early April 2024 and is a 6 month fixed-term contract. Key ResponsibilitiesConduct research/use data to inform decision making on product designCreate experiences – using appropriate methodology: personas, journeys, wireframes, interaction design, information architecture, prototypes and metricsPut users at the centre of all features designed and be an advocate for user-centred principles when working with other teams.Have enough product/technical knowledge to explain needs to developers.Work with our product designers to find creative and consistent design solutions.Work with entire team to bring experiences to life throughout development lifecycleFind pragmatic solutions when challenges ariseSkills, knowledge & experience required:Passion for sport and technologyA knowledge of racket sports, specifically Tennis and its rules and formatsAt least 3 years of user centred design experience in UX rolesFull knowledge of theoretical and practical UX design rules (e.g. heuristics) with evidence of application of best practice UX approaches and how to apply themExperience with UX Usability Testing and other Research methodologiesYou'll have created prototypes (low/mid fidelity) using standard prototyping tools e.g Axure, Balsamiq, Figma, Sketch although you're not a Visual DesignerExperience of designing responsivelyFind ways to educate others in UX methods & UCDExperience working in a Lean / Agile methodologyMust have portfolio featuring examples of E2E design solutionsProven experience delivering a high standard of output in fast paced environmentGreat if you also have:Experience of working on a SaaS platform, ideally in the sports sectorExperience in a digital agency, or similar fast-paced environmentExperience in using Confluence and JiraExperience of using Google Analytics and HotjarWe're committed to making Clubspark a fantastic place to work and we go to great lengths to support our wellbeing and give you what you need to succeed.
