ABOUT THE ROLE Working as part of a growing team, this role requires you to support the Head of Energy and Water Procurement to deliver Workman's strategy on behalf of our Clients.
Utilising your previous experience in the energy industry, this role supports the Head of Energy and Water Procurement managing the live schedule of all energy and water suppliers under management, while help leading our supplier relationships across all clients, ensuring agreed process and KPI's are implemented and met.
You will help deliver and implement energy and water strategy, while monitor the rates and performance of energy companies through a scoring matrix.
In addition, you will support and assist with projects to help streamline invoicing procedures and to work alongside the Property Accounts teams to ensure minimal the risk of excessive debt. # WHAT MATTERS MOST IN THIS ROLE Building and maintaining close professional relationships with clients, tenants and colleagues is paramount to your success.
You will deliver effective communication between Accounts Payable, Property Managers, clients and suppliers and bridge the relationship between all parties to ensure SLA's and KPI's are delivered.
Exceptional attention to detail and an analytical approach is required, especially when using data to benchmark and score suppliers' performance.
Proactiveness and going above and beyond is expected.
You will be comfortable working with a number of consultants, across the business rather than just one Bureau provider, ensuring portfolios are actively managed to meet Client's strategies and requirements.
Other duties will include: Manage AMR roll out projects and ensure HHD data flows are in place assisting with various reporting requirements.
Support Change of Tenancy requests Support and manage meter installations and removal requests Assist with the various requirements of SECR, GHG, GRESB, ESOS and other reporting remits Liaising with Workman Accounts payable teams, TPI consultants and Suppliers to resolve objections and terminations. WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU Experience in the energy industry is required, preferably working for a utility suppler, brokerage or consultancy.
You will be required to deliver detailed knowledge and understanding of the energy and utility market including account management processes, contract terms, COT procedures, MOPs and DA/DCs.
Accurate attention to detail is required, especially when delivering reports and interpreting figures and calculations.
You will take ownership of your work and projects whilst possessing critical thinking and go above and beyond to problem solve.
You should enjoy working in a collaborative environment and exert excellent verbal and written communication, plus experience handling analytical data is crucial to this role Some UK travel to our other regional offices is required.
Travel expenses will be covered.
Salary Band £30,000 - £35,000 WHY WORKMAN?
