Job Description: UT Technician Job Title: UT Technician Experience: Minimum 2 Years Salary: Competitive (Depends Upon Experience) Location: Singapore Key Responsibilities: Perform Ultrasonic Testing (UT) in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Conduct non-destructive testing using UT techniques, including UT 3.1, 3.2, 3.8, and 3.9.
Evaluate materials and components for internal defects and ensure quality control.
Generate accurate and detailed inspection reports with clear documentation of findings.
Collaborate with engineers and quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with client and regulatory standards.
Operate and maintain UT equipment and accessories.
Perform calibrations and set up testing parameters as per job requirements.
Ensure adherence to safety procedures and maintain safe working environments.
Provide technical support and guidance to team members as needed.
Continuously improve testing methodologies and stay updated on advancements in UT technologies.
Essential Qualifications: Valid PCN-Level II certification in UT 3.1, 3.2, 3.8, and 3.9.
Minimum 2 years of experience in Ultrasonic Testing.
Proficiency in interpreting UT testing results and identifying potential material defects.
Knowledge of relevant industry standards and codes for UT inspections.
Skills Required: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in operating ultrasonic testing equipment.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of work.
Good verbal and written communication skills for report writing and client interaction.
