Job summary This is an exciting opportunity to join the Digital Primary Care (DPC) portfolio working as part of a multi-disciplinary product team.
We're responsible for services and products that use digital technology to improve health outcomes for patients and reduce burden on staff.
This includes work to support the Delivery plan for recovering access to primary care,Pharmacy First, transformation of technology supplier markets, and development of services for healthcare professionals.
The work we do has a direct impact onpatients lives, helping them access the essential services they need as quickly as possible.

Drive up the quality and adoption of products and services that support innovation collaboration and continuous improvement, to enable fully integrated care.
Digital Services for Integrated Care (DSIC) - the cohort within Digital Primary Care that youll be based in provide healthcare professionals with digital products and services that help them provide the best patient care, reduce burden and provide greater value for money.
We work with health care professionals and primary care staff to understand their needs, and then set and assure against standards for the software they use.
We work with people buying software across the primary care landscape to support them in finding and buying software that meets their needs, has been assured, and is fit for purpose.
We work with suppliers to provide them with a route into market for digital clinical systems.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential Educated to master's level (or equivalent qualification / experience).
Skills & Abilities Essential Proven ability to communicate confidently, using appropriate tools and language with a varied audience, including presenting research findings to non-research colleagues Desirable Can prioritise findings and work with the product team to identify actions and recommendations.
Knowledge & Experience Essential Specialist knowledge of a range of user research approaches including both quantitative and qualitative methodologies Applied working knowledge of the user centred design process Knowledge of appropriate research methods across the user-centred design lifecycle and how to implement them Thorough understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies applying different/specific approaches when required Experience of conducting user research with diverse populations, including vulnerable people, and ideally non-digital users and people with low trust in public services A thorough understanding of the importance of inclusivity in research and how to source a diverse range of participants is highly desirable Desirable Working knowledge of the NHS Service Standard, and Service Manual
