An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Medical Secretary/Admissions Clerk within the Urology department based at Colchester Hospital.

This post is a full time post.
This is a key role for the division.
We are looking for a dynamic, flexible and enthusiastic team player to integrate with the current team and provide efficient and effective secretarial and administrative support to the clinicians, patients & other team members.
You will have attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to prioritise and plan.
You must be able to work using your own initiative and be flexible to work where the need is greatest.
In this role, you will provide efficient and proactive secretarial and administrative support to the large team of busy consultants and other team members.
You will be the first contact for patients and queries on behalf of the Consultants and Department.
You will work as part of a team, supporting other team members and covering when required.
Skills required for the post include: Good typing and audio skills The ability to prioritise tasks Effective time management skills Good IT and secretarial skills Good communication, interpersonal and organisation skills A good team member We are ESNEFT and we provide hospital and community health services to almost one million people across east Suffolk and north Essex.
