Job summary We are looking for an enthusiastic, self - motivated technician to join our friendly Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) in William Harvey Hospital Ashford.
You will be working with our emergency care practitioners who provide urgent care in this busy UTC.
The role of the Urgent treatment Centre Technician is essentially task orientated, involving the direct care of the patients and supporting the multi-disciplinary team.
These tasks are to be performed with an understanding and awareness of the broader personal needs of both the patient and his/ her family.
Care will be implemented without supervision.
It is expected that the post holder will regularly work a variety of shifts in order to fulfil the duties of the post; this will include nights and post may require the holder to work on other sites within East Kent Hospitals Trust, in order to meet service requirements and to ensure that staff maintain and develop their skills Please note previous applicants need not apply.

This post is for a band 3 Technician, the applicant must have completed their competencies and training required of the post to be considered for interview.
