We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to join Britanx Process, our specialist division that designs and manufactures innovative process vessels, heat exchangers, skid sets, and process tanks.
This role is pivotal to expanding our market presence and driving the growth of our process solutions business.
About the Role: As the Sales Manager for Britanx Process, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities within the process industry.
Reporting to the Interim Business Unit Manager, you'll work closely with our technical and engineering teams, leveraging their expertise to deliver bespoke solutions for our clients.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a sales professional looking to make an impact and potentially progress to a Business Unit Manager role, with the opportunity to lead a standalone business unit within our group, managing your own P&L.
Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute sales strategies to grow our Britanx Process business.
- Identify and target new business opportunities in key sectors such as food & beverage, cosmetics, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and energy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored process solutions.
- Work closely with our in-house engineering teams to align customer requirements with technical capabilities.
- Manage the sales cycle from lead generation through to contract negotiation and closure.
- Develop proposals and present technical solutions to clients, showcasing the value of Britanx Process products.
- Meet and exceed revenue targets, with the ambition of advancing into a Business Unit Manager role to lead a separate business unit within Fabdec Group.
About You: To be successful in this role, you will need to be a commercially-savvy sales professional with a strong technical background and an entrepreneurial mindset.
Key Requirements: - At least 5 years of sales experience in the process engineering sector, ideally with a focus on selling process equipment, process vessels, heat exchangers, fluid systems, pumps, skid-sets or related solutions.
- HNC qualification or higher in engineering (mechanical, chemical, or process engineering preferred).
- Proven ability to win new business and grow existing accounts.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of profit and loss management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present technical solutions in a compelling way.
- A proactive, self-starter attitude, capable to build trust relationships, with the ambition to take on additional business leadership responsibilities.
