We are looking for an experienced Business Manager to join our Legal team.
The Business Manager will report to the Acting General Counsel and be responsible for managing legal operations matters and providing support across the team.
They will be familiar with Risk, Compliance and Governance matters that are important to the function.
This is an exciting role for an individual who can work effectively cross-team to make things happen, dealing with everyone, across all functions at all levels.Responsibilities include: Support with legal risk reporting for, and legal attendance at, internal committees & forums as necessary; Support in the preparation of committee papers taking input from members of the Legal team and other teams as necessary; Support with management of the legal budget, including tracking spend against budget; Tracking relevant projects to ensure delivery in accordance with deadlines - identifying and removing or escalating any obstacles to completion; Supporting with management of relationships with external law firms; Managing legal risk & controls processes and testing for Legal; Managing legal policy, process and other relevant documents; Misc.
