Ideally, we are looking to recruit someone who has extensive knowledge of Urgent Care patient pathways.
You will understand the Urgent Care landscapeand help align General Practice priorities and those of the system, through theimplementation of transformational projects which improve and develop UrgentCare pathways for patientsWe work closely with ourpractices together with primary and secondary care providers to amplifytheir voices in discussions and decisions about the delivery of healthcare inour area.

Main duties of the job As the Urgent Care Programme Manager you willEnable general practice tofeed into the design, development, and mobilisation stages of a model of carethat delivers the outcomes of the Urgent Care workstream objectives, reducesinequalities across the system and responds to local needsLead the Urgent Care GPCBCommittee who will feed into the work and have oversight of general practiceprocesses made up of representatives across the six GP localities and thosewith specialist interest in this workstreamDevelop and implement a generalpractice programme plan of Urgent Care priorities Support GPCB to ensuresufficient resource available to general practice to deliver the programme planProvidesingle contact point for other BNSSG providers, the system workstream programmeteam and general practiceDevelop and maintain relationships with keystakeholders both internally and externallyShare information with general practice, secondarycare and ensure engagementWork well with workstream management team (ICB,Trusts) to develop shared objectivesScope and define projects and initiatives insupport of the workstream plan, including providing information, analyticaladvice and expertise as neededContribute to business plans, dashboards, risk logsand other programme documentation to support the achievement of identifiedworkstream outcomes About us OneCare is the GP federation representing and supporting practices in Bristol,North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG).

We work closely with our practices to amplify their voices in ourarea's discussions and decisions about healthcare delivery.InSeptember 2020, One Care established a GP Collaborative Board (GPCB) toaccelerate and amplify the representation of general practice in the widerhealth and social care system.
The GP Collaborative Board enables generalpractice to engage effectively with the developing Integrated Care System andto support development of strong place-based Integrated Care Partnerships.
TheGPCB brings together all general practice leaders so we can function as anequal beside other providers and the commissioner.
The GPCB has GPCBProgramme Managers which strategically operationalise GPCB priorities.

Support GPCB to ensure sufficient resource available to general practiceto deliver the programme plan Provide single contact point for other BNSSGproviders, the system workstream programme team and general practiceDevelop and maintain relationships with keystakeholders both internally and externallyShare information with general practice, secondarycare and ensure engagementWork well with workstream management team including Intergrated Care board and hospital trusts to develop shared objectivesScope and define projects and initiatives insupport of the workstream plan, including providing information, analyticaladvice and expertise as neededContribute to business plans, dashboards, risk logsand other programme documentation to support the achievement of identifiedworkstream outcomesRecruit and provide line management to project managersto deliver agreed workstream projects Build and maintain goodworking relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders(clinicians, managers, providers etc.)
on a range of operationally sensitiveissues.Produce and present reports, requiring thecollection, analysis and interpretation of a wide range of data includingdiffering expert opinion/recommendations.
