Unscheduled Care Practitioner (Rural Support Team)

An exciting opportunity is available for suitably qualified, experienced, and forward thinking Advanced Nurse Practitioners to join our Rural Support Team covering Caithness, the Tongue and Armadale practice area on the North Coast of Sutherland and the Durness, Scourie & Kinlochbervie practice area in West Sutherland.
The successful candidate will be able to evidence up to date clinical knowledge and skills and have an interest in a remote and rural setting.
Working autonomously at a highly advanced level this post offers the opportunity to use your skills in urgent care out-of-hours with support from the neighbouring OOH services as well as rotating through GP practices & the Caithness Hospital at Home service in-hours.

This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff.
This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours.
However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
