We are recruiting for our new, purpose-built hospital within the site at Royal Sussex County Hospital!
The new 'Louisa Martindale' building provides spacious, well-resourced and modern facilities for patients and staff across all 40 wards and departments.
The building includes a new 'Welcome space', running the entire length of the building.
This will provide ample space for everyone including seating areas and retail outlets.
As part of this development, we have the opportunity to expand our team, recruiting into these brand-new roles.
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Senior Imaging Clinical support workers to join our dynamic and friendly team in the Imaging Department.
The successful candidates will be working alongside radiographers and radiologists to ensure the smooth running of the department.
We are looking for hardworking individuals who are both flexible and versatile.
You will be a team player, have a positive attitude and be able to work under pressure in challenging conditions.
You must have the ability to work with patients for sensitive imaging examinations.
Previous healthcare experience is essential, but we will provide support and training to carry out your duties within the Imaging specialities.
Main duties of the job This dynamic and evolving role will include coordinating the workflow in specific Imaging areas, assisting radiographers in the preparation of patients and equipment for imaging examinations, ensuring pre-examination checks and information are available, liaising with wards and porters, assisting with patient transfers and the orientation of patients around the department.
As part of the role you will also perform caring activities for the patients ensuring patients' needs and privacy and dignity are met.
