Unit Nurse Manager (RGN) Hours: 48 hours per week - Days Salary: £23.59 per hour + Benefits Location: Bristol, BS15 1PN ABOUT THE ROLE As a Unit Nurse Manager at a care home, you'll use your compassion and initiative to ensure our client's residents receive the quality care they deserve. You'll plan, manage, and monitor the delivery of nursing that meets all of our residents' needs. This includes implementing person-centred care plans that positively impact our client's residents' day-to-day lives. Your responsibilities will also encompass planning rotas, recruiting, training and mentoring staff, and building relationships with local regulators and social services. You'll have the autonomy to enhance your unit, with ample opportunities for professional development.
ABOUT YOU To join as a Unit Nurse Manager, you'll need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN) with current NMC registration. Experience in producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments is essential, along with up-to-date knowledge of recent clinical practices and regulatory frameworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines. You'll be a natural leader who has acted as a clinical mentor, supporting newly qualified nurses through their preceptorship. Dedicated, ambitious, and resilient, you'll have a strong track record of delivering improvements to achieve quality care.
This position requires 48 hours per week, including alternate weekends.
