They are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join their award-winning team as a Unit Manager (Non-Clinical) at their Droitwich Spa location.
Main duties of the job As a Unit Manager (Non-Clinical), your focus will be to support the care home management team in delivering high-quality care by providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Your responsibilities will include monitoring standards of care, leading on the person-centred care planning process, and acting as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives, and health/social care professionals.

If this sounds like the place for you, wed love to hear from you!ABOUT THE ROLEYour focus as a Unit Manager (Non-Clinical) will be to support the care home management team in delivering high-quality care with a difference by providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.Other responsibilities will include: Lead on monitoring standards of care delivered by staff through observation, audit and direct involvement.
Lead with monitoring the well-being of each resident, being aware of any change impacting care and care planning and ensuring that changing needs are met, and written records are amended to reflect any variation.
Lead in the person-centred care planning process by implementing, monitoring and undertaking monthly evaluations, completing care plan audits, developing action plans and being responsible for completing the action plans.
Act as a key point for contact with residents, their relatives and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are acted upon, and concerns or complaints are escalated.ABOUT YOUTo be successful in your application, you will live our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential To be successful in this role, you will need an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes, 2 years of experience working with the resident group, and knowledge of the CQC Fundamental standards.
You should also be able to demonstrate the ability to lead staff and act responsibly in the absence of the manager.
