NOTE: Due to the nature of our work, all candidates will be required to obtain and maintain an appropriate UK security clearance.
About the role Reporting to the Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the UK based Finance Director will contribute to long term financial decisions regarding our future.
This role is responsible for local finance partnering and decision support, group treasury management and contribution to a range of external and internal strategic and compliance reporting.
As a key member of the UK team they act as a strategic advisor to the UK CEO.
Duties Include: Lead, direct and manage the finance function within the UK Provide strategic advice and recommendations to the UK Leadership team (UKLT) Provide strategic guidance to the UKLT on all financial matters including identifying risks and opportunities for improvement and growth Responsible for UK financial reporting, performance analysis, compliance and regulation Effectively support the business's financial performance including analysing treads, monitoring cash flow, ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and reporting Responsible for all treasury management activities including required reporting to financiers Support the cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting to help drive the Company's financial strategy and performance Lead the development of financial models and forecasts for the UK Oversee the company's tax planning and compliance efforts, including the preparation of tax treasury operations Support in tax planning and compliance Accountable for the implementation of finance policies and procedures in the UK, in accordance with the Group policies and procedures Lead the compliance of UK operations and reporting requirements What you'll need: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance Post-graduate accounting or finance qualification Demonstrate leadership skills, with the ability to build and lead high-performing teams Deep strategic and analytical skills with the ability to lead and contribute to business strategy and growth Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders Ability to communicate to senior stakeholders such as external financiers, investors and boards Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions Strong commercial acumen skills Strong understanding of financial analysis, financial modelling, and accounting principles Demonstrated ability to develop and implement financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability Ability to maintain a NSV Security Check Why Work at Amiosec?
