About the Role: We are seeking a detailoriented and proactive Fund Switch Administrator to join our UK financial advice business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the fund switching process for our clients ensuring that all transactions are executed accurately and efficiently within the regulatory framework.
Key Responsibilities: Fund Switch : Process fund switch requests from financial advisers ensuring timely and accurate across various platforms and providers.
Client Account Management: Maintain uptodate records of client portfolios ensuring that all fund switch activities are accurately reflected in the clients account.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all fund switch activities are conducted in compliance with UK financial regulations including FCA guidelines.
Reporting: Generate and distribute regular reports on fund switch activities to relevant stakeholders including financial advisers and compliance teams.
Communication: Liaise with financial advisers fund managers and platform providers to resolve any issues or queries related to fund switches.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of fund switch operations.
Key Requirements: Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role within the UK financial services industry preferably in a financial advice or wealth management firm.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of UK investment products including mutual funds pensions and ISAs.
Familiarity with FCA regulations is essential.
Skills: Excellent attention to detail strong numerical skills and proficiency in using financial platforms and software.
Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with a range of stakeholders.
Education: Relevant financial services qualifications (e.g.
CISI Investment Operations Certificate) are advantageous but not essential.
