Responsibilities: Category Management: Lead purchasing and sales activities for the FMCG non-food category, which may include one or more of the following: Beauty, Personal Care, Health & Wellness, Household & Laundry, Pets, Toys, or Baby products.
Performance Ownership: Drive gross profit margin (GPM) and gross merchandise value (GMV) for assigned categories.
Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
Sales Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies, including pricing structures and promotional campaigns.
Procurement Negotiations: Identify and engage with potential partners, manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and cost efficiencies, validate fees, and ensure accurate data maintenance.
Product Selection: Curate and select category-specific products that align with consumer demand and usage scenarios.
Resource Coordination: Collaborate with international supply chain teams to secure necessary resources and support.
Data-Driven Optimization: Analyze sales and procurement data to identify trends, propose improvements, and enhance gross profit margins.
Requirements: Experience: At least 5 years of e-commerce experience in categories such as Beauty, Personal Care, Health & Wellness, Household & Laundry, Pets, Toys, or Baby products.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of FMCG non-food categories with strong market insights and proven purchasing expertise.
Network: Established relationships within the FMCG network in the UK.
Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities, data sensitivity, and logical thinking.
Effective communicator with a passion for continuous learning.
Mindset: Highly driven, innovative, team-oriented, and committed to aligning personal contributions with organizational goals.
