Home Instead is a Domiciliary company offering clients / CARE Professionals 1 hour minimum calls and continuity of client. We match our CARE Professionals with similar interests so a rapport can be quickly gained.
Must have means of transport as clients are cared for in their own homes or would like you to accompany them on appointments or accessing the community/local events.
Flexible hours to suit you, this may mean 8 hours a week or up to 25 hours a week. We believe in a work-life balance, and this role would suit anyone with time on their hands wanting to give back to the community or perhaps returning to work part-time. Age is not a barrier; the more life experience you have had, the better.

Job Description The role of a Care Professional suits everyone that cares, wants to help, and enjoys the reward of knowing the difference your support can make. It can vary from day to day, but it will always be a very rewarding one. You will provide our clients with help and support so they can continue to live happily and safely in their own homes for as long as possible. The help and support could include:
Companionship Meal preparation Keeping their house safe and clean Administering or prompting medication Taking them shopping or to appointments Helping them with essential tasks to keep them safe and well, which may include personal hygiene routines; however, many of our clients are proud and want to stay independent, so they prefer the least amount of support - just enough to keep them living at home, safely and independently. Qualifications We are not necessarily looking for experience in care, but if you are:

In summary:
We provide all the training you need to have the tools for the job, and it is paid. Hourly rates are from £11.44 to £18.00, paid monthly into your bank account. In addition, you are paid travel time, waiting time, and a data usage payment. You get mileage for travelling to different clients' homes, and each time you may take them out to the garden centre or hospital. This is paid fortnightly directly into your bank. In addition, you get your DBS paid for. Employee Assistive programme is free to you, and so is £1500 worth of health cashback.
