TSUK Transition Fund Programme Officer Job description This is a Fixed Term post until 31st March 2026 (UK Government funding) with potential extension to 31st March 2027 subject to funding.We are currently looking for an experienced programme management officer to join our team.
The successful candidate will support the Strategic Funding Programmes Office and the TSUK Programme Management Office on the effective and compliant delivery of the TATA Steel UK (TSUK) Transition Fund in Neath Port Talbot and Wales.The £80 million TSUK Transition Fund aims to protect and grow the economic and social environment, to mitigate the impact on those workers, businesses and communities directly affected by the TATA Steel UK decarbonisation transition and regenerate Port Talbot.The main duties of the post; To lead and coordinate the programme level financial monitoring of the Fund;To Lead and coordinate the programme level claims process to UK Government;To lead and coordinate the programme level output and outcome monitoring of the Fund, including the establishment of the monitoring and evaluation process to fulfil the requirements of the TSUK Transition Fund evaluation.To lead and coordinate the Fund governance, decision making, programme management and assurance, with timely reporting to the Programme Board, Neath Port Talbot Council Cabinet, and UK Government.
You will have experience in/of; Experience of working in the field of strategic funding with demonstrable track record of supporting the delivery of strategic funding projects and programmes, including European Structural and Investment Funds, Welsh Government fund, and UK Government funding programmes;Experience of preparing and collating financial claims and financial monitoring and reporting at project and programme level;Experience of output and outcome monitoring at project and programme level;Experience of working within government, local government, economic regeneration environment;Experience of coordinating a variety of tasks simultaneously, organising and prioritising work in order to meet project and programme milestones.
