The Development and Alumni team at the University of Central Lancashire is recruiting for a new Trusts and Foundations Manager to fulfil a key element of our ambitious fundraising aspirations. The funds raised will enable new transformative projects across a range of university subject areas, and significantly contribute to our philanthropic income.
The successful candidate will have responsibility for developing high quality funding proposals, managing strategic relationships with a portfolio of trusts and foundations, and securing major (£100,000+) gifts from regional, national and international philanthropic funders.
We need someone who is able to make a flying start with this currently underdeveloped area. Ideally, a natural problem solver with the ability to work laterally to resolve fundraising challenges across departments. This role will allow you to co-create and lead this income stream strategy, and represents an exciting opportunity for career development.
Minimum Requirements: Educated to degree level, or equivalent work experience. Proven experience of securing significant income from trusts and foundations, ideally within higher education, research, or the non-profit sector.
