?We are committed to building a diverse board of trustees, can you help?? We didn't do it on purpose, it just happened circumstantially but we need to make a change to the make-up of our board.
At the very frontline of our work, there are 16 powerful and courageous women, working for transformation within their communities in India.
Yet, at board level, there is only one such woman.
Did you know only 13% of charity boards have gender parity?
We've decided that is not good enough for us or the communities we serve and we are committing to making that change.
Can you help?
We refuse to patronise or box tick, and it would be neither moral, legal or feminist to appoint just on gender alone.
We will recruit the best people available.

To better reflect the communities we serve, we welcome applications from women, as we currently have an underrepresentation of female trustees.
However, all trustee appointments at Paper Boat are made solely on individual merit, qualifications, and the unique perspectives each candidate can bring to our organisation.
This approach reflects our commitment to building a diverse and effective board, while ensuring each appointment is guided by talent and experience.
We are also particularly keen to speak to women with fundraising knowledge and experience who can bring wisdom and guidance at board level.
