Job summary Full time (9am to 5pm) appointment working with the Care of the Elderly team.
Working with the Specialty Doctors they will ensure cover is provided for general inpatients on general Care of the Elderly ward which are all well staffed with daily consultant ward rounds and other junior doctor support.
Main duties of the job Helping organise the consultant ward round, review sick patients, patients fit for discharge, leading the MDT in consultant absence from the ward and providing middle grade cover to junior doctors within care of elderly medicine.

Person Specification Education and qualifications: Essential Eligible for GMC registration to cover the scope of employment Satisfactory completion of FH01 and FH02 (or equivalent certified evidence of competence) at the time of taking up post MRCP Part 1 + 2 Desirable Distinctions, Scholarships, prizes FRCS/MRCP PACES other Degrees eg.
