Job summary Cambridge University Hospitals is looking for a dedicated and proactive Trust Risk Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in safeguarding the quality and safety of care provided to our patients.As a Trust Risk Manager, you will: Further Develop and Implement our Risk Management Framework: Develop, implement, and maintain effective risk management framework that ensure safe and reliable patient care in all divisions.Collaborate with Clinical and Operational Teams: Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to identify, assess, and mitigate risks while promoting a risk aware culture.Provide Training and Guidance: Empower staff with the knowledge and tools they need to manage risk effectively, fostering a proactive risk-aware culture.Transition the organisation from Datix web to Datix DCQI enterprise risk manager: Be instrumental in the design, development and implementation of the Trust's risk register from Datix web to Datix DCQI enterprise risk manager.Improve trust document management: Be accountable for the implementation and continuous development of the Trust's document management processes and the document management system.Leading others: Provide line management to the Trust Document and Patient Information Manager and lead the team through exiting changes in 2024 and beyond.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential Degree level education or equivalent experience Risk Management Qualification Evidence of professional development Desirable Master's degree or evidence of postgraduate education Experience Essential Demonstrable experience of managing divisional risk registers Significant experience of governance in Acute NHS Trust Demonstrable experience of senior staff and stakeholder engagement Experience of developing, implementing and reporting on governance data using Datix or other data systems Experience of preparing and writing clear and concise reports Experience of working within and across Divisional boundaries Demonstrable experience in line managing teams through change.
