Trend Creative – Colour & Materials Specialist An exciting opportunity to join a growing creative team.
We're looking for a mid-weight trend forecaster with a particular focus on colour, materials and print, and pattern, to enhance our talented team.
You will have the opportunity to put your stamp on our publications and play an active role in the evolution of our content.
Working as part of the Trendhub team you will support the development of our seasonal digital books and reports from kick-off to final publication.
We're looking for someone who can take their in-depth interest and knowledge of colour, print and materials and apply their research across our fashion and home outputs.
Core Responsibilities: Awareness of current and future trends, from a macro level down to category specific nuances Curating and presenting your ideas clearly to the team Collaboratively developing new ideas and directions alongside the team, contributing to open discussion and topline thinking as part of seasonal panels and creative kick-offs Working with our senior colour lead and external specialists to establish seasonal palettes and develop stories across our publications Keeping the team up to date on the latest developments within fabrics, materials and dyes across fashion and home Taking ownership of the development of future publications dedicated to colour, materials, and print and pattern Taking ownership of studio colour and materials libraries Attending relevant industry tradeshows, both in the UK and internationally, reporting key findings through inspiring and informative reports As we grow, working alongside senior team members in order to develop the Trendhub team Open to opportunities to present at future tradeshows, webinars and events Skills & Experience: An established creative within trend forecasting with 3-5 years' experience Experienced in colour story development, with a thorough understanding of colour application (Preferred but not essential) Knowledge of sustainable colour methodologies, dyes and innovation Good technical knowledge of fabrics, materials and print and pattern applications Highly creative with an excellent eye for detail Adaptable, with experience working across multiple categories Clear communicator, able to effectively present ideas at all stages Excellent written skills Able to work collaboratively as part of a team, and independently Highly organised and efficient, able to work to project timelines across multiple live projects Able to travel internationally when required Please send examples of your work to support your application.
