NPC Tree Surgery is a highly professional company, undertaking the whole spectrum of Tree Surgery operations. Alongside our conventional workload, we carry out specialist works including advanced decay detection, technical crane and MEWP works, rigging, and risk-reduced dismantling operations. We pride ourselves on providing a professional service carried out to the highest standard for both domestic and commercial customers.
We are looking for a new member of the team with previous experience to take on the role of Tree Surgeon.
We view our Tree Surgeons differently, with varying levels of ability, each one adding value to the company and the jobs we do. These levels are:
Level 1 - Small Reductions, Hedge Trimming & Small Dismantles Level 2 - Medium Reductions, Rigging & Medium Dismantles Level 3 - Large Technical/Complex Dismantles & Reductions The job will involve:
Ensuring the correct equipment is carried for the task that day and that the equipment is returned serviceable with any routine maintenance completed. Liaising with customers on arrival and briefing and assigning members of the team tasks on site. Ensuring work is carried out efficiently and safely at all times. Mentoring, developing, and advising less experienced members of the team. Carrying out the full spectrum of tree surgery tasks. Upholding the professionalism and high standards of the company at all times. Supervising team members who have specific roles (e.g., equipment care, vehicle maintenance) when undertaking these tasks to ensure completion. Being comfortable liaising with and taking payment from domestic customers upon the completion of work. Preferred Skills and Qualifications: CS 30/31 CS 38,39 with experience Driving License with B + E Minimum 2+ years experience in the Arb / Tree Surgery environment High standards and takes pride in their work Desirable: NPTC CS32, 40 & 41 MEWP experience Trained on the use of advanced decay detection equipment (Micro Drill / Picus) Training can be provided for the above to the right candidate Normal working hours: 07:30 - 16:30 Mon - Fri
Full company uniform and PPE provided.
Over Time Rate: 1.5 x Hourly Rate
28 Days annual holiday Continuous Professional Development: Additional training and qualifications will be provided as necessary as part of our commitment to maintaining and enhancing a skilled and competent workforce.
Salary: Dependent on experience and qualifications
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £29,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
