We are looking to add a Travel Consultant to our team.
**Key Responsibilities**: 1.
**Consult with Clients**: - Engage with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, budget, and special requirements.
- Provide expert advice and travel suggestions, including destinations, accommodations, tours, and transportation options.

**Research and Planning**: - Research destinations, accommodations, flights, and activities to provide tailored travel itineraries.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new destinations, and emerging travel products.
- Prepare customized travel packages for different types of travelers (individual, family, business, etc.).

**Booking and Arranging**: - Make travel arrangements including flights, accommodations, car rentals, tours, and other logistics.
- Coordinate complex itineraries, ensuring all details are accurate and align with client expectations.
- Handle changes or cancellations and communicate alternatives to clients.
4.
**Provide Customer Service**: - Offer ongoing support to clients before, during, and after their trips, addressing any issues or concerns.
- Respond promptly to inquiries and assist with any problems that may arise during travel (flight cancellations, etc.).
- Help clients understand travel documents, visas, and insurance requirements.
5.
**Build Client Relationships**: - Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
- Offer personalized services to loyal clients based on their travel history and preferences.
6.
**Sales and Upselling**: - Promote special deals, travel packages, and upgrades where applicable.
- Actively seek out opportunities to upsell or cross-sell travel services such as insurance, excursions, or premium services.
7.
**Administration**: - Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and client interactions.
- Ensure all bookings comply with legal and safety requirements.
- Keep track of deadlines for deposits, payments, and travel confirmations.

- Experience in travel planning or a background in hospitality/tourism.
- Strong knowledge of global destinations, travel trends, and booking systems (GDS, etc.).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle last-minute changes effectively.
