Transport Planner

Role: Transport Planner - European/ Domestic Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 Location: West Midlands Work Pattern: Monday - Friday (08.30 - 17:30) Summary: We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Transport Planner to join our client's team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimising transportation routes to ensure timely, cost-effective deliveries.
Key Duties: Plan, organise, and coordinate daily transport schedules and routes Liaise with drivers, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth delivery operations Monitor and track shipments, addressing any delays or issues Optimise routing to improve efficiency and reduce costs Ensure compliance with safety and transport regulations Maintain accurate records of shipments, schedules, and transport activities Provide regular updates to the operations team and management Requirements: Previous experience in transport planning or logistics (preferred) Strong organisational and time-management skills Knowledge of transport and logistics regulations Familiarity with route planning software and tracking systems (advantageous) Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and priorities This exceptional opportunity will close as soon as the right candidate is secured, so don't delay and apply today!
