Our client is seeking a dynamic and adaptable Transport Manager to join their team.
With expert industry knowledge, analytical and planning skills, you will ensure the smooth and efficient running of their busy transport operations.
Responsibilities: Manage and maintain the vehicle fleet, ensuring compliance with legislation and regular audit of maintenance schedules Support accident investigations and ensure health and safety requirements are met Act as the point of contact for motor insurance and handle daily defects on holiday cover Order fuel and ensure all vehicles are licenced, registered, and insured Effectively manage vehicle scheduling for maintenance and repairs Report on accidents/incidents and perform any other duties as required Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence and Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) in Road Haulage - International Detailed understanding of relevant transport and health & safety legislations IT literate (Microsoft Office) Previous experience in Transport Management In this role, you will work closely with the transport team and drivers to ensure the efficient functioning of the transport operations.
You will also collaborate with the Transport Office Manager in supporting daily operations.

The successful candidate will enjoy a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary ranging from £38,000 to £40,000 per annum.
