With a competitive salary, a company car, and a strong leadership team by your side, this role offers the ideal opportunity for a logistics professional to shine.What You'll Be Doing:Reporting daily spend and service performance to the General Manager, using contract performance reports to guide decisions.Managing operations to meet customer expectations and exceed KPIs, specifically within a courier or same-day delivery environment.Handling customer queries via email and phone, and resolving issues swiftly while communicating with the General Manager.Ensuring drivers meet company standards-uniform, budget adherence, and professional conduct.Overseeing driver rotas, ensuring coverage for holidays while keeping salary costs under control.Maximising contract performance, ensuring smooth, efficient deliveries.Monitoring driver behaviour using advanced systems, addressing any speeding or other driving issues promptly.Collaborating with internal teams to ensure all driver and vehicle information is shared for seamless booking and allocation.What We're Looking For:Solid experience in operations management within a same-day delivery or courier business.A decisive, solutions-oriented leader comfortable in a fast-moving environment.Proven ability to inspire teams and lead through periods of change.Strong Excel skills and proficiency with logistics software systems.Excellent organisational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.A natural communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to motivate diverse teams.Flexibility to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure role.If you've got the right experience in same-day delivery or courier operations and are looking for your next challenge, we'd love to hear from you!
