Transport Coordinator

The role of the Transport Coordinator is to liaise daily with the Global Transport Manger, Production and Global Dealer Support teams.
The transport Coordinator will collate, undertake pre-checks, book and invoice all shipping.
Responsibilities include ensuring all deliveries of McCloskey Equipment to McCloskey International customer network, all relevant customs and compliance paperwork is prepared in a timely manner, digitally filed and records accurately maintained throughout the Shipping process.
Up-to date and effective communications with al relevant parties is an integral part of this role.
Whilst maintaining a high level of customer service and ensuring all necessary paperwork has been completed along with invoicing.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities Liaise with the Global Transport Manager, production and Global Dealer Support teams to ensure accurate timescales for delivery.
Request Freight costs and maintain freight rates.
Build excellent working relationships with existing freight companies and be main point of contact for all machine freight queries.
Preparation and filing of export paperwork ie Letters of credit, EUR1 forms, certificates of origin, road permits, despatch notes, invoicing in line with our audit and compliance rules and regulations, all other documentation associated with the outward movement of our machines.
Communicate transport updates with internal team and directly with the Dealer.
Work closely with transport manager, production and dealer support team.
Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Desired Education and Background Educated to GCSE Standard or equivalent with proven experience in Freight Management Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with a high degree of accuracy in preparing /checking paperwork with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational, coordination and customer service skills.
Must be proficient in MS Office (including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Outstanding communication (oral/written) skills required.
Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
Excellent geographical knowledge of the area.
