Driver Hire Bristol is recruiting on behalf of a leading blood transport company that is seeking a dedicated Transport Coordinator to join their team in Bristol.
This role, offering a salary starting at £26,530 and rising to £29,114 after three years, is essential for supporting the efficient operation of their Transport and Logistics services, ensuring the timely delivery of critical supplies.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00, providing a stable and structured work week.

Key Responsibilities: Serve as a key team member, managing local, regional, and national logistics tasks.
Coordinate operational work planning and organisational service provision.
Oversee courier activities, ensuring cost efficiency.
Build strong links with service departments to ensure timely delivery of products.
Use digital and IT systems, including a Transport Management System, to manage work flows effectively.What We're Looking For: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent Geographical knowledge of the national road networks.
Experience of coordinating movements of items and products.
Friendly, approachable, and professional in all interactions.
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
Keen attention to detail and the ability to manage workload under pressure.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.
Ideally, experience in logistics, customer care, or a supervisory role.Qualifications: Minimum of GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent).
A qualification in Transport and Logistics (or relevant experience) is desirable.
Willingness to undertake ongoing development and training.
