TRANSPORT CLERK - RUNCORN MONDAY TO FRIDAY 08:30-17:30 SALARY £23,878.00 per annum START ASAP The Role and Responsibilities Reporting to the Transport Team Manager To assist in an effective and efficient transport administration service Undertake general duties to support the Transport Team Managers, i.e.
answering the phone, issuing vehicle keys, allocating work, up-dating Isotrak.
Check daily delivery documents to ensure correct store delivery and highlight issues as appropriate.
Assist in any investigation regarding discrepancies / adverse results.
Focus on delivering and demonstrating sound planning and control skills in order to achieve targets as well as working with colleagues to achieve continuous improvement.
POD Scanning.
Manually process amendments to manage the system and ease vehicle movements.
Issue instructions / directions to the drivers as to the required destination / parking space of the inbound vehicle.
Undertake such duties as may be reasonably required for the effective operation of the function and department About You Experience of working within a transport environment an advantage.
