Position: Transport Assistant Location: Rochester Line Reporting Manager: SST Divisional Manager Hours: Monday - Friday, Earlies and Lates alternate weeks- 06:00am - 16:00pm / 08:00am - 18:00pm (50hour week with an hours lunch) Principle Duties and Accountabilities: Liaise with and assist generally other sections in the Company in the delivery of operational and administrative services to internal and external customers Support Senior Transport Teams Roles and Responsibilities: Logistics & Planning Assist line manager in the delivery of planned and reactive services to industrial, commercial and domestic customers in accordance with established procedures.
Assist line manager to Monitor and analyse data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for operational improvement.
Be aware and monitoring of daily vehicle revenue Take responsibility for managing planning of works in line managers absence Customer Service Receive service requests verbally or electronically, providing advice and prices to customers, and coordinate the relevant resources to meet agreed timescales and optimize performance.
Address/resolve complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
Liaise with other departments within the organisation and assist in the delivery of operational and administrative services to internal and external customers.
