Working with a busy Transport team, you will have the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of the Transport Office, working alongside the Planning Team and Fleet Manager.
This is a newly created role to support the office initially, but if you are someone who wants to learn new skills, there will be an opportunity to learn aspects of the planning and compliance operation.
If you have an interest in Transport/Logistics and come from a proven administrative background and want to benefit from long term career progression, with the opportunity to develop your skills into Transport Planning, then this is an ideal role for you.
The Role: Support the Transport team Creation of PODs Monitoring of driver's collection notes ensuring accuracy Ensuring all contracts for deliveries are signed and received in a timely fashion Work with other departments effectively Communicate with customers regarding delivery and collection requirements General transport administrative duties The Person: Must have experience in an administrative role Proficient IT skills Can communicate clearly and organised approach Can provide good customer service with professional telephone manner Previous Transport experience would be advantageous Customs knowledge would be advantageous but not essential What's in it for you?
