Training Supervisor - Materials Testing

Introduction Looking to develop your supervisory and training capabilities within our materials testing laboratory at Doncaster CTS are in search of an ambitious Training Supervisor to support the Quality Manager.
The position is to provide training on a day to day basis to our new and existing technicians and to be part of a dynamic team and support business growth.
The Role An opportunity has arisen for a Training Supervisor to join the department.
The position is to provide training and guidance for the members of the materials testing site/laboratory team plan audit monitor the training requirements to develop the team and ensure compliance with our UKAS accreditation.
Key Tasks Include: To train/refresh all technicians new and existing.
To be responsible for technicians signed off training records.
To maintain the companys 4 yearly audit requirements for all trained site staff.
To maintain monthly training audit requirements To maintain the staff training matrix and update monthly.
To work in a team to produce programmes that are satisfactory to all relevant parties in an organisation such as line managers and senior managers To be responsible for UKAS preparation.
Making sure technicians are well briefed trained and competent to perform demonstrations to UKAS live.
To provide support with the onboarding process for new starters in the first few days especially.
To include online training for CSCS test Inductions etc.
Continue to look at how the training of technicians may be improved to meet the needs of CTS as responsible and industry leading employers The Candidate The successful candidate will have an excellent technical understanding of techniques and equipment covering a variety of materials tests with a minimum 3 years working in a materials testing environment covering earthworks concrete aggregates & asphalt.
