Job DescriptionFollow and deliver Home Instead training and induction programmes in accordance with legislation and current industry best practice inclusive of Company Policy and Procedures.Reflect the core values of Home Instead West Lancashire & ChorleyTo act as an ambassador for Home Instead West Lancashire & ChorleyPrimary Duties which could include, but are not limited to:Design and expand training and development programmes based on the needs of the organisationDeliver appropriate training programs externally to stakeholdersAdvising Senior Management of any changes to the training we provide which may be required to meet legislative requirements.Arranging and providing bespoke training updates for all staffAssisting all staff with additional training support e.g.
NVQ/QCF/SVQKeeping accurate training records for all staffSupport in accessing training from local funding sourcesAssisting and contributing towards Quarterly Care Professional team meetingsRegular contact with all Care Professionals through mentorship programme and QA processSupport with Observational Monitoring/Spot Checks as and when requiredSupport with Care Professional Inductions including observations to assess competence in line with the Care CertificateSupport Care Professionals with personal development plans.Regularly review and update with changes forwarded by National OfficeCovering care shifts as and when requiredParticipate in out of hours "on call" rotaProvide up to date hand over for out of hours coverQualifications2 years minimum professional experience in the Care SectorExperience of training deliveryGood understanding of Microsoft Office programs i.e.
