Exciting Opportunity for a Trainer Assessor in Building Services/Heating & Ventilation A leading educational institution is seeking a Trainer Assessor to join the Construction team at their Cambridge Campus.
This role is perfect for candidates looking to transition from the building services industry to the education sector, with full training provided.
Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group training and support for students.
Conduct assessments in the workplace as well as at the college.
Conduct regular learning reviews with apprentices and their employers.
Prepare and coordinate the End Point Assessment.
Regularly communicate with employers to build and maintain good relationships.
Agile Working:This role allows for a degree of agile working.
The Trainer Assessor will visit apprentices in their workplace and assist with their development while attending college.
Administrative duties may be carried out from home in agreement with the line manager.
Requirements: Extensive demonstrable working experience within the Building Services/Heating and Ventilation industry, preferably qualified to level 3.
Assessing and IQA qualifications are desirable, but training will be available for suitable candidates.
Previous experience of training, coaching, or mentoring apprentices in the workplace.
Knowledge of current Apprenticeship Standards and End Point Assessment requirements is desirable, with training provided for suitable candidates.
Good planning, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Confidence in using a range of IT systems.
Ability to work flexibly and independently.
Possession of a current driving licence and willingness to use own vehicle insured for business use (mileage will be reimbursed).
A team player who maintains a professional approach at all times.
