Marint is involved in assisting a variety of clients to charter suitable offshore vessels, including anchor handling tugs/supply vessels, accommodation support vessels, dive support vessels, platform supply vessels, fast support intervention vessels, crew boats, escort tugs, and utility vessels.
Marint remain involved with a towage or charter from start to finish, negotiating pricing, drawing up and negotiating contracts and monitoring the performance of a tug or offshore vessel throughout the operation and ensuring any issues arising along the way remain professionally and promptly attended to.
Position Overview: As a Junior Shipbroker, you'll receive hands-on training to become a fully involved player in our diverse and dynamic operations.
Working within our team, you'll develop expertise across various sectors including: 24/7 Emergency Towage & Salvage Commercial Towage Solutions Offshore Vessel Chartering Heavy Lift, Lightering, and Cargo Transportation Upon successful completion of training programme, you'll join our 24-hour duty roster, enhancing your skill set through live operations whilst being fully supported by the experienced team.
Key Responsibilities: Direct involvement in hands-on training and development, across a broad range of shipbroking activities.
Maintaining and updating internal records and post fixture documentation.
Preparing Invoices for Senior Shipbrokers After successful completion of training programme, you will be expected to participate in a rotational 24-hour duty roster (1 weekend in 6 and 1 weeknight).
Build strong client relationships and contribute to maritime operations globally.

Previous experience in shipbroking is advantageous, but not essential.
