Trainee Procurement / SRM Analyst - UK Wide - ARD1058163Purpose of the RoleThis exciting remote based Procurement Analyst opportunity has arisen to join our small fast paced, forward-looking Procurement and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) team within our wider Operations function to support integration activities and legal entity reduction projects of newly acquired businesses to the group.This is a 12-month fixed term contract, ideally to commence in January 2025.This is an entry level role for someone wishing to develop their career in Procurement/SRM.Basic salary up to £28k depending on experience.What you will doThis is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities.
Collaborating with your Line Manager, you will develop your own objectives but focus on all of the following and more:Maintain and update procurement systems including Dynamics365 (P2P) and Atamis (Contract Management System – CMS).Assist adding suppliers to our P2P system and maintain supplier payments.Upload contracts to the CMS and manage contract data.Assist in drafting contract novation and termination letters using approved templates.Support due diligence processes.Collect and analyse data to assist integration and decision-making.Work with acquired businesses to understand their supplier base and collect details for investigation.Who we are looking forThis is an opportunity for a pragmatic, proactive and adaptable team player who is keen to further their Procurement/SRM career with us.
You will need:To be able to use Microsoft office, including SharePoint, is essential and experience using a CMS would be preferable.Strong communications, relationship building and influencing skillsExcellent analytical skills, with keen attention to detailPresentation and report writing skills as well as problem solving skillsWe need a self-disciplined individual who can work as part of a team but use their initiative and manage their own workload.
You will need to be able to execute instructions accurately and have a can-do attitude.
