Job Title: Trainee Mandate Monitoring Analyst Contract Type: Permanent Location: London Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based Closing date: 18th November 2024 We are currently looking for a Trainee Mandate Monitoring Analyst, in the Investment Operations Team.
You will liaise with the entire business and support the Front Office with the monitoring rules that apply to their mandates - both client and regulatory.
The team code and monitor rules daily, engaging with the front office and taking pride in assisting them in the Investment Decision Making processes.
The team are currently undertaking a project of transformation - RLAMs largest infrastructure project historically – which presents an exciting time to join them as they embark on this journey.
About the role Undertake Pre- and Post-Trade monitoring of all RLAM portfolios using our existing Order Management System: Aladdin – investigating potential breaches.
Conduct regulatory disclosures for takeovers (FCA, Takeover Panel) and large shareholdings (SEC) Interpret, code and test applicable rules for our portfolios using industry best practices and feedback from the business Support our fund launch process by working with Investment Support, Derivative Operations, Distribution, the Front Office and many more teams Work with our Trustees & Depositories to ensure that potential breaches are reported, classified and investigated appropriately.
About you An industry related degree such as Maths, Finance or equivalent.
Highly numerate, good problem solving skills.
Keen, inquisitive – good communicator (written and oral).
Experience of coding desirable, not essential.
An understanding of various Asset Classes to include but not limited to – either obtained via a university degree or through industry experience: Equities Fixed Income (corporates, government, and credit).

Achievement of or willingness to study for IMC levels 1 and 2.
