Trainee Legal / Case Management Software Developer - Leeds - Ref 583

Working within a team of permanent and third-party Case Management System Developers and Analyst / Programmers within the IT Development team means you will develop quickly into a focused and resourceful legal software developer.
You will collaborate with other teams including IT Operations, Corporate Projects, MI, Operations, Client Relationship Management, and third party clients and suppliers.
ACCOUNTABILITIES & TASKS Develop skills and knowledge of the case management system from both an operational and technical perspective, learn it's capabilities and constraints, how the various clients and products are configured upon it, and how it is developed to meet business needs Assist in systems analysis work to help assess gaps in functionality and determine the most appropriate solution for given requirements Produce systems design documentation where necessary Develop, configure, and unit test system elements to meet functional requirements Assist in the planning and execution of technical tests (systems testing, integration testing, stress / volume testing, regression testing, etc.
), recording all identified faults, ensuring the timely delivery of fixes and explanations, and completing all necessary retesting Support User Acceptance Testing, recording all reported faults, and ensuring the timely delivery of fixes and explanations Plan and coordinate deployment activities Work with the IT Operations team to help investigate and resolve application software incidents, and support the production of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) documentation where needed SCOPE OF THE ROLE The role is highly dynamic with frequent changes in priorities Training on the system will be provided Technical skills & QUALIFICATIONS Essential Experienced in the use of case management systems.
Desirable Experience in using visual studio, VB.NET / C#.NET, MS Access and Excel VBA, SQL Server, and Visio #J-18808-Ljbffr
