We are thrilled to offer a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven candidate to join our award-winning construction client in an Assistant Business Development Manager or Trainee role.
In this role, you will play a key part in driving strategic growth, exploring new business avenues, and fostering lasting partnerships.
Training will be provided to support your development into a successful business development professional.
Key Responsibilities: - Support in identifying and developing new business opportunities while building strong, enduring relationships with both current and potential clients.
- Assist in managing a pipeline of opportunities across designated sectors to drive growth and revenue generation.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers, positioning the company as a trusted partner.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, potential clients, and untapped segments in the construction sector.
- Help prepare and submit Pre-Qualification Questionnaires and maintain supply chain updates.
- Contribute to developing business presentations that showcase our unique value proposition.
- Collaborate with Bid teams to craft winning tender bids and actively seek feedback to enhance our approach.
Candidate Profile: We are looking for a highly communicative, adaptable, and motivated candidate with a genuine interest in business development and a willingness to learn.
Prior experience in a business development / sales role is advantageous but not essential.
Knowledge of the construction industry is essential Knowledge of structural steel would be highly desirable Remuneration Package: You will receive a competitive salary package with a car/travel allowance, 25 days of annual leave plus Bank Holidays, a group personal pension scheme, life assurance (3x basic salary), and access to the Medicash scheme.
