Trainee Accountant

Job Description Position: Trainee Accountant Location: Belfast Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 (DOE) About the Opportunity: A fast-growing accountancy firm is looking for a full-time Trainee Accountant due to internal promotions.

Notably, the office closes at 1 pm every Friday, supporting work-life balance.
Responsibilities: \n Engage with clients regularly through phone, email, and in-person meetings.
\n Assist in preparing accounts and supporting corporate and personal tax returns.
\n Handle bookkeeping tasks and prepare VAT returns.
\n Potential involvement in transactional work, such as M&A and complex tax projects.
\n Provide support on various projects across the business.
\n Skills and Qualifications: \n Strong numerical and analytical skills.
\n GCSE/A-level/Degree in a numerate discipline that showcases analytical abilities.
\n Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
\n Strong communication skills.
\n Previous experience in a practice environment is a plus.
