The Role:The role itself is that of a Train Cleaning Team Leader.
This means that you will be leading a team of 2x operatives at any one time in the cleaning of a train, as well as issuing jobs on the worksheet, audits, and liaising with the Train Presentation Supervisor.
Standard duties include interior cleaning, hoovering the floors, inspecting/maintaining toilets, etc.
For this role, my client is seeking a candidate that can 'lead from the front' and be an example to the other cleaners in how to carry out their duties.The role is focused on Full and Deep Cleaning, where you will be cleaning everything in and outside of public view.The Hours:You will need to be flexible for the shift pattern, which consists of working 20:00pm – 06:00am, on either 3 on 2 off, 2 on 3 off or 2 on 2 off on a 4-week rotating pattern.
However this pattern is likely to change in January, so we need candidates who are flexible for this.Remuneration & Benefits:Upon joining this position, you will receive the following:• £13.56p/h • Progression routes – Our client is hiring into their business on a permanent basis after an initial phase on a 6-month contract.
Once permanent you will then receive opportunities to further progress your career in a range of positions such as train presentation, engineering, customer service and more.
